What are you going to do?
As a Pollination Worker, you and your colleagues are responsible for the pollination of (fruit) crops. The pollination work is for fruit vegetables such as tomato, cucumber, and pepper (emasculation). You remove the stamens and manually apply pollen. It is very precise work. In addition to pollination work, you may also be involved in various other tasks within the company.
Because it can sometimes get warm in the greenhouse, it is important that you can handle heat well.
What are your working hours?
The working hours are between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM. When necessary, work is also done on Saturday mornings until 12:00 PM.
Working hours may vary during busy periods
What do we ask of you?
- You master the Dutch and/or English language
- You have a structured and accurate working attitude
- You have good fine motor skills
- You have affinity with horticulture
- You are prepared to work according to strict hygiene measures
- Are you willing to work on Saturdays?
- Own transport is an advantage
Where are you going to work?
Our Hirer's head office is located in De Lier, near Delft. An international family business with a people-oriented corporate culture. The company is at the beginning of the food chain. They develop vegetable varieties and sell their seeds to growers all over the world.
