What are you going to do?
All-round radish farm worker, you will be an important part of the small but friendly team dedicated to producing and shipping high-quality radish products. This role is perfect for someone who likes to work with their hands and is willing to start early. Experience with radish harvesting is not a requirement; at our Relationship, they are willing to teach you everything you need to know.
Your role will include:
- machine harvesting, sorting and packaging the radishes
- preparing the harvested radishes for dispatch
- solving minor malfunctions on the machine
What are your working hours?
Working hours are Monday to Friday between 5am and 2pm.
What do we ask of you?
- you have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language
- are able to work independently
- a positive work attitude
- you are available all year round
- Some technical insight
- willing to start early
- you are in possession of your own transport
Where are you going to work?
Our Relation is a modern greenhouse farm specialising in the year-round cultivation and sale of forest radishes. With over 40 years of experience in the business, they cultivate with love and passion on over 2 hectares of land. The cultivation process starts with soil preparation, followed by machine sowing of radish seeds. After a growing period of three to 12 weeks, depending on the season, the radishes are mechanically harvested with a radish bunching machine.
After a thorough quality control, the bunches of radishes are packed according to customer requirements in various types of packaging material and reach customers across Europe, ranging from wholesalers, supermarkets, restaurants to catering companies.
